Pet Tube is currently the rage! Being an owner of dogs and cats (1 dog and 2 cats, right now), I can easily see why Pet Tube is so hot! Before I discovered Pet Tube, I used to use either those folding cardboard containers with handles, or a plastic pet box. If you’ve ever had a dog or cat go to the bathroom on one of those cardboard containers, then I’m sure you’re with me that they’re [...]

One of the most common questions I get is what is the cheapest GPS that has text-to-speech. I completely understand why I’m being asked that question. Text-t–speech is one of the “must have” features of vehicle GPS devices in my book. Text-to-speech is where the GPS actually tells you what streets to turn on. It’s doesn’t just say, “Turn Right,” but “Turn [...]

This post is sort of a continuation of my post about the problems found with the Garmin 465T, which is Garmin’s newest model designed just for truckers. Another Garmin model designed for truckers, busses, and other larger vehicles is the Garmin StreetPilot 7200 7-inch portable GPS navigator. The StreetPilot 7200 has a huge, 7-inch screen. This is measured on the diagonal. That’s a 60% increase [...]

Garmin’s 465T is one of the first GPS devices to be designed just for truckers. Although other manufacturers have tried to design a trucker oriented GPS device before, none have really succeeded. With the 465T, however, it looks like Garmin has come out with a really good product. Since, trucker’s depend on their equipment for money, I wanted to take a close look at the 465T, and especially air [...]

Looking for the best Garmin GPS 2010? Well, the year’s close to half way over and the jury’s still out, but there are some solid contenders for first place. In this post, I’m going to talk about the best Garmin GPS 2010, but in price ranges. It’s not really fair to compare a $300 model to a $100 model. Also, I want you to keep in mind Garmin’s new 3700 series, which is going to blow the roof [...]

The Garmin Approach G5 GPS-Enabled Golf Handheld is one of my favorite, high-end golf GPS devices. There are several reasons for this. One is I’m a Garmin man when it comes to automotive GPS’s. Garmin makes quality. I think they have the most innovation and best overall engineering going. That’s sort of a general qualification. Let’s look at a few specific reasons why I really like the Garmin [...]

If you’re interested in the true cutting edge, state of the art GPS device, then the Garmin nüvi 3790T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator is exactly what you need to be looking for. It is currently, without doubt, the coolest, most function laden GPS on the market! Can you tell that I like it?
Here’s a few of the phenomenal features you’ll get when you buy the Garmin nüvi 3790T 4.3-Inch Portable [...]

With the Garmin nüvi 3760T 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator and its sisters, the nuvi 3750 and 3790, Garmin is really leaving the competition in the dust. There are so many features that this particular GPS device has, it’s hard to know where to start talking about it.
Possibly one of my favorite features is the fact that you can orient the nuvi 3760T either horizontally or vertically. The horizontal [...]

Thinking that the age of stand alone GPS devices has past, and that we all might as well download apps to our iPods? That might be the future of GPS technology, but quite frankly, Garmin doesn’t believe this. As a matter of fact, they’re coming out with a whole new line of stand alone GPS devices, the 3700 line. Here you see the Garmin nüvi 3750 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator. With it’s [...]

If you want a Garmin GPS system, but really would like a larger screen, then the Garmin nüvi 1450 5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator could easily be the right choice for you. Personally, I really like larger screens. Although, you do need to think about the following–windshield size. The car I drive has a fairly large windshield (Honda Civic), so I don’t mind a larger GPS screen on my dashboard. [...]
